A series of cracking photographs by Pamela Raith, for How To Win Against History at Bristol Old Vic have just been released.
The comedy musical is based on the true story of what was once one of the world’s wealthiest men – Henry Cyril Paget and 5th Marquess of Anglesey.
The flamboyant and fabulous Marquess, was known for his extravagant parties, lilac-dyed poodles and theatrical performances, causing a proper Edwardian scandal.
Henry is now back at Bristol Old Vic with no fortune but savage wit, banging songs and – we are promised – ‘a metric tonne of sparkle’.
