Edward Albee’s A Delicate Balance Opens in Bristol This Week
It’s being staged at the Pegg Theatre
Albee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning absurdist play – A Delicate Balance – will be hitting the Pegg Theatre this week.
It’s being performed by the University of Bristol’s DramSoc, marking the first production of the company’s 2025/26 season.
The theatre company says it will be bringing a new ‘experimental’ spin to the production.
A Delicate Balance tells the story of Agnes and Tobias. The well-off couple live comfortable lives with Claire, Agnes’ alcoholic sister.
But when their friends Harry and Edna arrive – with their adult daughter Julia not far behind – it pushes things to breaking point.
DramSoc has dropped rehearsal shots this week ahead of opening night on Thursday.
A Delicate Balance will be at The Pegg Theatre from 27 – 29 November 2025
