Bristol’s annual Slapstick festival of screen comedy is putting on a trio of fundraising shows – Slapstick Conversations – at St George’s on Sunday 04 October 2026.
The second show – Rick Wakeman: Music, Mayhem and the Movies
Expect hilarious tales from Rick Wakeman spanning his fifty years in show business. From progressive rock and encounters with David Bowie through to Mony Python and classic comedy.
Rick will also be improvising live piano accompaniment to a classic Laurel & Hardy silent comedy, chosen by himself in the second half of the event.
