BAOS Brings Young Frankenstein to Redgrave Theatre
Monster musical comedy – Young Frankenstein – will be brought to life at the Redgrave Theatre by BAOS this April.
The hit show originally started off as a 1974 comedy movie written by Gene Wilder and Mel Books with Brooks also directing.
Parodying the film adaptations of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein in the 1930s, Brooks went on to develop the movie into a Broadway musical in the noughties. A UK premiere followed ten years later in 2017.
Bristol company BAOS, will staging the fun-filled musical at the Redgrave Theatre in Clifton from 04 – 08 April 2023.
BAOS are highly experienced at bringing popular musicals to the stage having entertained the city with shows since 1894. They are currently managing to stage four productions each year between their senior and youth company.
