Booking Now: Travelling Light’s Into the West at Tobacco Factory Theatres

Travelling Light’s magical touch will be applied to Into the West, a stage adaptation of Jim Sheridan’s screenplay of the film.

The story starts in the tower blocks of a Dublin estate and follows the adventures of two children who meet a magical white horse.

Travelling Light’s Artistic Producer Jude Merrill said: “We are delighted to be ending our long tour with an extended run at Tobacco Factory Theatres in Bristol, where all the many fans of the show will get a chance to see it again – many of them bringing their children and grandchildren! It’s a particularly appropriate venue for the show because of our long-standing relationship: we have collaborated to produce some wonderful family shows, including the fabulous 101 Dalmatians and the Olivier-nominated Cinderella: A Fairytale, which is being remounted at Tobacco Factory Theatres this Christmas. Audiences who can’t wait that long will have the chance to see some brilliant theatre for all ages this summer with Into the West.”

There will be a Relaxed Performance on Tuesday 05 July for children and adults with additional needs.

The show will be running from Wednesday 29 June until Sunday 17 July and is recommended for children aged 7 years upwards with their families.
