Chitty Chitty Bang Bang BLOC Returns to Bristol Hippodrome
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at Bristol Hippodrome:
Bristol’s award-winning theatre company BLOC is back at The Bristol Hippodrome this September, bringing the city classic musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
In recent years, BLOC has put on shows including Sister Act, Sunset Boulevard and My Fair Lady.
The shows often feature a buzz and energy missing from touring professional shows with ensemble numbers in last year’s My Fair Lady absolutely breathtaking.
This year, they are back with magical flying car Chitty and the adventures of the Potts family with Truly Scrumptious.
Chairwoman of BLOC Productions, Susanne Donovan said: “We are delighted to have been offered this rare opportunity for a non-professional company to stage Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and are very excited to be bringing it to The Hippodrome, our Bristol home for over 60 years, in September.”
Expect a high quality production of this much loved show.
