Colston Hall and Bristol Plays Music Closure Due to Coronavirus

Colston Hall Closes to the public until May

The Colston Hall will be closed to the public from Wednesday 18 March until at least Thursday 30 April 2020, according to a statement from the venue today. During this time, all Colston Hall Presents concerts will be cancelled or postponed.

The venue will be contacting all customers affected, though say this will take some time. They say that events from May onwards will be reviewed on a daily basis.

The Bristol Plays Music site in Southmead will be closed to the public from Saturday 21 March until at least Thursday 30 April. All Bristol Plays Music events except for individual music tuition are cancelled.

Colston Hall calls the the impact of coronavirus ‘unprecedented’ asking people to consider donating their ticket refund to supporting the charity.

Those who are able to donate will be entered into a prize draw to win one of the following prizes:

A Colston Hall Presents golden ticket with two free tickets per month for shows of your choice for one year when we’re back up and running
A free seat named in the transformed concert hall
A free one year membership and priority booking
