Badgers – The Weston Studio
The Theatre Royal Plymouth production of Badgers comes to the Weston Studio of Bristol Old Vic this July.
it’s produced in association with BOV.
Previews will be taking place at the Weston Studio form 30 July – 01 August before it’s official world premiere opening at the Traverse Festival during this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
It then returns to Bristol Old Vic this September.
The show has been written and developed by South West artist Malaika Kegode, in association with Bristol Old Vic.
Badgers brings together an ensemble of performers for this brand‑new folk play. It blends spoken word and live music.
The cast will be Malaika Kegode as The Storyteller, Beth Roberts and Joe Williams as the Musicians. The production is directed by Jenny Davies.
Badgers explores the art of letting go and the ethics of true crime, weaving together myth, memory and music.
