Behemoth: StarStruck (WIP) – Alma Tavern Theatre

Behemoth is off to this year’s Edinburgh Fringe this year with their show StarStruck. The cast describe it as their “most ambitious” show to date. Ahead of its run, the show will be having a work in progress performance at the Alma Tavern Theatre this weekend.

StarStruck is a subversive sketch comedy show which explores the relationship between art, fame and commerce. It’s done through a dreamlike and immersive style and what the performers call clowning, “multimedia chaos, grand theatrics, boybands and an ancient parasitic CEO made entirely of Velcro”.

Behemoth is a queer, multinational and multidisciplinary comedy group with four writers and performers: Maddie Ragless, Heidi Parsons, Munro Gascoigne, Tim Carlier with Laura Franklin as producer.
