Circomedia Summer Spectacular!

This June, audiences are invited to experience an uplifting evening of extraordinary live performance as Circomedia, Bristol’s acclaimed circus school, host their Summer Spectacular fundraiser in their home venue – the beautiful St. Paul’s Church.

This feel-good fundraising cabaret promises breathtaking aerial artistry, jaw-dropping acrobatics, exhilarating juggling, physical theatre, and joyful entertainment from some of the South West’s most exciting circus talent.

The evening will be compèred by internationally renowned performer Rod Laver, who will also be taking to the stage to attempt to break the Guinness World Record he originally set in Beijing in 2013.

The line-up for this summer celebration will include:

Dynamic acrobatics from Welsh duo and Circomedia graduates Emba Wimbush and Ieuan Waller

Ascension, an emotionally charged aerial hoop performance by Emba in Motion

Aerial rope artistry from Circomedia diploma student Paddy Riddle

A spectacular large-scale club juggling act choreographed by Gandini Juggling performer and Circomedia Head of Juggling Owen Reynolds

A silent-movie-inspired slapstick performance created by Circomedia’s degree students for Slapstick Festival 2026

Performances and walk-about entertainment from Circomedia’s talented student cohort
