Hit comedian comes to Tobacco Factory Theatres with his new show

He’s a two-time Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee, a Live at the Apollo headliner and a Have I Got News for You panellist.

It’s Emmanuel Sonubi and he will be in Bristol this November with powerful and hilarious new show Life After Near Death.

Emmanuel took the whole ‘die on stage’ thing a bit too literally, once suffering from heart failure half way through a performance. If you think that’s the worst that can happen, he then went on to suffer a stroke.

His new show is described as candid and moving, offering a surprisingly funny reflection on resilience and recovery.

“I can’t wait to bring this new show on tour! Life After Near Death is a special one for me – it’s personal, it’s raw, but most importantly, it’s funny,” Emmanuel says.
