Rodney Black Who Cares It’s Working - Bristol Improv Theatre

Rodney Black: Who Cares? It’s Working, comes from Full Frontal Theatre.

The interrogation of comedy follows up and coming controversial stand-up Rodney Black who is at the peak of his career.

Dividing public opinion, he both titillates and aggravates audiences in equal measure.

A violent crime committed by one of his Super Fans leaves him grappling with the ethical implications of his new found spotlight.

The theatre company asks ‘where we might draw the line between what is actually ‘just kidding’ and who is masking malicious intent.’ It questions the ‘complications and responsibilities’ that come with ‘influence’.

It’s the second play by Sadie Pearson, also writer of To Watch A Man Eat. Together with actor director and theatre maker Hen Ryan and producer Grace Shropshire, the three make up Full Frontal Theatre.
