Sam Hickman: First Woman at Strange Brew (WIP)

Sam Hickman is a British/American singing harpist. She will be bringing together comedy, cabaret and a bit of theatre as well as music in First Woman which will be at Strange Brew this January.
Performing as part of the Bristol Comedy Festival this year, First Woman looks at womanhood, motherhood, medical transition, and how to win it all.
First Woman asks how do we escape the trauma of our past and why do we wait to be happy?
Performed with the promise of ‘very elaborate and gorgeous’ costumes, this looks like a great show to kickstart your 2026
