SCENE Pop-Up Cinema Presents Drive (2011) – ACTA
November 13
Pop up community cinema for film lovers, Scene Bristol, will be showing Drive at ACTA this November.
A getaway driver. A city after dark. A job gone wrong. It’s cool. It’s beautiful. It’s bloody.
Ryan Gosling barely says a word with the soundtrack doing all the talking.
Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive is a neon-drenched collision of violence, romance and pure cinematic style. All pulsing synths, long silences and sudden brutality.
And it deserves to be seen on a big screen, with the sound turned up.
Scene is an independent pop-up cinema in Bristol bringing cult classics, overlooked gems and films worth revisiting back to the big screen.
