The Gruffalo – Bristol Old Vic

Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s classic picture story book The Gruffalo, comes to Bristol Old Vic this April.
The musical adaptation of the story is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
Mouse, whilst out in search of hazelnuts meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the high-spirited Snake all of whom are intending to take Mouse home for their dinner.
But Mouse invents the scary Gruffalo to save him from being eaten. Because there’s no such thing as a Gruffalo right?
The show is full of laughs, songs and imaginative storytelling aimed at children three years upwards with their grown-up.
