SUMMARY:Maybe I Should Stop by Oscar Brudenall-Jones - Alma Tavern Theatre
DESCRIPTION:To The Tooth Theatre\, brings a brand new show to the Alma Tavern Theatre this month. \nMaybe I Should Stop by Oscar Brudenall-Jones\, is the company’s very first production. It’s already currently nominated for Two Fringe Theatre Awards. \nOscar Brudenall-Jones is co-Artistic Director of the company. He’s a working class actor aiming to bring to the stage ‘sharp\, socially aware’ theatre which will entertain and provoke audiences. \nIt’s directed by co-Artistic Director of To The Tooth Theatre\, Esalan Gates. \n\n\n\n\nMaybe I Should Stop\, explores themes of grief in a post-pandemic world. It also includes ‘sperm bank strikes’ and ‘why you shouldn’t lose your rag at an old person’. \nOscar Brudenall-Jones calls it “comedy with a bite”. \n\n\n\n\nAaron\, an out-of-work entertainer\, has nicked his dad’s ashes and hidden them in a tub of chocolates. Now he’s on his way to Cornwall with no money\, a half-baked plan and the police in hot pursuit. Catch him while you can! \nFor more information about To The Tooth Theatre: https://www.tothetooththeatre.org/ \nBooking details below
