SUMMARY:Lyra Bristol Poetry Festival 2025
DESCRIPTION:Lyra – Bristol Poetry Festival returns in 2025 with a 10-day programme from April 25 to May 04\, featuring readings\, workshops\, slams\, walking tours\, open mics\, and a poetry and performance retreat. \nThe 2025 theme\, Weird and Wild\, explores nature\, rewilding\, and otherness through poetry. \nThe festival will also celebrate key literary anniversaries\, including Coleridge and Wordsworth’s 130-year connection to Bristol and 225 years of Lyrical Ballads Volume II\, linking Romantic poetry to modern environmental themes. \nWorld-renowned poets and local talent will participate\, making it a vibrant\, inclusive celebration of poetry. \nEvents will be in-person and live-streamed\, ensuring accessibility with BSL\, captioned events\, and wheelchair-friendly venues. \n
