Lamphouse parody the Brendan Fraser film\, Rick Wakeman’s concept album and of course\, Jules Verne’s original story.  \nTom Fox and Becky Owen-Fisher are back with cardboard props\, jokes\, ridiculous costumes and some catchy tunes. \nLamphouse Theatre says the show is perfect for everyone who is looking for a night full of silliness and laughs. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Storyteller Corinne Harragin\, is touring the UK with a brand new piece of theatre – Troubled Waters: Contemporary retellings of ancient river legend\, folklore & myth. \nThe show will transport audiences into a world where ancient folklore intertwines with contemporary themes\, celebrating female agency and queerness whilst igniting new connections with waterway and wetland restoration. \nThere’s over 4\,000 miles of polluted waterways and Britain and Ireland’s rivers are in ruin. The show will wind through stories shaped by our relationships with rivers. \nIt’s something Corrine knows a lot about as a research associate at the University of Bristol. Her current project Storying the Avon has been funded by the Brigstow Institute.
