She turns voice into rhythm\, texture and immersive sonic environments. \nThe event brings together a line-up of artists at each stop on the tour whose practices engage with sound\, cultural memory and transnational connection. \nBristol Line-Up \nTIRTA\nTIRTA blends ambient\, house\, trance and electro with the SE Asian dance floor gems. She is currently the Programme Director of Half East Records\, an international music collective that celebrates ESEA diaspora. \nIzzi\nThe London-based DJ and radio host draws connections between ancestral percussion and club futurism. Her work spotlights Burmese artists on UK radio. \nDungi Sapor\nThe Amis (Pangcah) artist\, DJ and producer from Hualien\, Taiwan\, fuses Indigenous vocal traditions and contemporary electronic music. \nHer work moves between experimental club culture and cultural storytelling. \nKanatal Dance\nAmis Kanatal Dance combines music\, dance and contemporary performance. The work is rooted in Taiwanese culture. Expect DJ composition\, Indigenous vocals and embodied movement as they explore Indigenous culture through a contemporary lens. \nThe event is described as a “collective experience of listening\, movement and encounter. DESCRIPTION:Marcus Sahir brings his brand new show\, Starshore\, to the Alma Tavern Theatre this summer. \nIt’s a one-man comedy drama\, written and performed by Sahir\, exploring themes around eating disorders and mortality. It focuses on recovery\, queer friendship and the forces of nature that can both destroy and heal us in turn. \nYears after forging friendship in an eating disorder ward\, Aadhi and Kara re-unite on a hiking trip to the sea\, determined to be new people and put the past behind them. Aadhi has never seen the ocean before. Kara sees it every summer\, and can’t wait to show him. \nBut old demons die hard\, and deep waters reflect ugly secrets. As the days go by\, the fears they’ve hoped to bury are brought to the surface\, and their bond is tested in ways neither could have imagined. \nCan starlight be kept? Or do we always fall back to darkness? \nBristol-based Sahir is known for his work locally\, including Today I fought A Tiger\, Cardboard Village\, The Courts and Morally Grey for Lightbox Theatre. \nThe show is produced by Marcus Hadley.

A place between somewhere and nowhere. Harrison has been coming here for a year. Or maybe it’s his first time. Or his last. It depends on which Harrison you ask: the pensioner\, the man in his 30s\, or the teenager. They’ve all been summoned here for the same reason – if only they could figure out what that is. The mannequin stands at the centre of it all\, unravelling Harrison’s life before his eyes\, as it becomes clear that there are darker truths about his world threatening to break his fantasies.   \nIt’s been described as a ‘wickedly inventive’ new play that deconstructs the relationship between masculinity and technology in a ‘radical’ and ‘compelling’ way. \nThe theatre company was founded in 2024 with the aim of giving emerging actors and creatives the chance to devise and stage original work. Its debut production – Glass House – brought together 7 actors\, 4 writers and script editors\, 3 technical designers 3 photographers and publicity designers\, 2 producers and a director. It’s an impressive feat in a challenging industry. \nThe production will be in Bristol for one night only ahead of a run at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Then the Urban Regeneration Programme arrived. Not a revolution. Just a system that slipped quietly into people’s lives and called itself order. \nSome welcome it. Some fear it. Most are simply trying to survive it. \nIn a world designed to keep everyone apart\, they find something rare: connection. Not quite love or friendship. More like the quiet ache of being altered by another person. \nThe Programme claims it can fix society. But to fix something\, you often must strip it down—remove the messy\, human parts first: fear\, pain\, hope\, longing. The need for one another. And if we lose those things\, what’s left of us?
