Festival of Evensong Comes To Bristol Cathedral This October
The Festival of Evensong, comes to Bristol Cathedral this month. With it will come a series of free events celebrating the music and liturgy which has been sung in the cathedral nearly every day since 1542.
From Monday 09 – Sunday 15 October, talks, recitals and services will be taking place as well as Evensong itself.
Master of the Choristers & Organist, Mark Lee said:“Choral Evensong has been at the heart of our sung worship in Bristol Cathedral since the 16th century, and continues to be offered by our choristers and lay clerks, successors to and custodians of this glorious tradition. Come and experience the tranquillity of this very special part of our shared history.”
