Great Bristol Run 2024 Packed Bristol City Centre

City Centre filled with runners for this year’s return of the popular event

Central Bristol bustled on Sunday, with a takeover of runners and supporters in the tens of thousands for the 2024 Great Bristol Run.

With events for mascots, wheelchair users, families, a half-marathon and a 10km run, the popular event saw huge areas of the city’s central areas closed to cars.

Many of the runners were taking part in aid of local and national charities as well as running in memory of family and friends.

The event has been taking place in the city since 1989. This year’s sold-out event shows it’s a much-loved fixture in Bristol’s diary.
