High School Never Ends The Musical at Alma Tavern Theatre Bristol
- Brand new show – High School Never Ends The Musical – comes to the Clifton based theatre this March
A brand-new nostalgia-driven musical about high school love in the 80’s will be running at the Alma Tavern Theatre in March.
High School Never Ends, written by Owen B Lewis and featuring songs by Bowling For Soup, is being staged by Common Flipside.
Set between 2008’s Texas and Ohio, the show is told through a series of flashback scenes in the 1980s when Emily dumped boyfriend Jaret. Neither of them got over each other with a chance encounter causing them to reflect on the past.
Will a reunion ever happen with midlife commitments draining their time?
Common Flipside says the show will ‘highlight the peculiarities of being a high school student – a sense of bewilderment that never truly leaves us when we move into the adult world.’
High School Never Ends The Musical, will be at the Alma Tavern Theatre from 21 – 25 March 2023
Running time is 1 hour 45 minutes – including 15 minute interval.
