In Between Time Bring Live Theatre to Broadmead Bristol
A programme of events aiming to plunge Bristolians into forests as well as conjure wilderness in central Bristol, will be taking place across the city this month.
Inbetween Time will be bringing Wildness to several locations from 17-19 June 2022. If you think Broadmead can’t get more exciting during the weekend, it’s about to Level Up.
In Between Time describe themselves as a ‘working-class, female-led live art producer’. They are based in Bristol as well as the wider South West and aim to bring people together to create artworks and events to make people reflect and take action.
They say their vision is of a ‘fairer world routed in wild creativity, social and environmental justice.’
The three events taking place are:
Woods
By artist Clarice Lima
A temporary forest with a cast of Bristolians, will be taking place in Broadmead. Aiming to blur the lines between live performance, visual arts and fashion design, the strength and instability of the body will reflect a forest’s power and fragility in this urban landscape.

Some People Climb Up
By Sylvia Rimat
This immersive audio-walk with themes of neuroscience and trees, will take place in Leigh Woods. It lasts an hour and is guided by artist Sylvia Rimat. It encourages people to experience the forest through their senses.

Slowmo
By Instant Dissidence
Dance company Instant Dissidence, bring three dances based on the stories of three locals to the streets of Broadmead. You can follow the dancers along the street, experiencing Broadmead in a ‘whole new light’.
