In Between Time Present Woods by Clarice Lima in Broadmead Bristol

Did you see people dressed up in Broadmead yesterday doing handstands whilst dressed in flowing costumes? It was for a performance of Woods, created by Clarice Lima, and brought to Bristol by In Between Time.

In Between Time is a Bristol based working-class, female-led live art producer. They bring artworks and events together aiming to make people think, reflect and take action.

With Woods, by artist Clarice Lima, In Between Time turned Broadmead into a temporary forest with a cast of Bristolian performers. Woods aims to blur the lines between live performance, visual arts and fashion design, with the strength and instability of the body reflecting a forest’s power and fragility in urban landscape.
