John Barrowman Bristol Hippodrome Cancellation
John Barrowman Bristol Hippodrome:
Torchwood and musical star John Barrowman, was forced to cancel a one-night concert at the Bristol Hippodrome this evening, after a ‘severe’ neck injury left him unable to perform.
The popular 52-year-old singer was due to open an 8 night tour in the city coinciding with the release of his new album A Fabulous Christmas.
Ticket holders were contacted at 10.30am this morning to inform them of the cancellation.
The performer’s date at the SEC Armadillo in Glasgow on Sunday 01 December has also been affected after doctors advised him not to perform while he recovers.
“I am so disappointed and upset as I was looking forward to seeing you all, I feel I am letting everyone down, but it’s simply not possible for me to do the show in my current condition,” he says.
“We have thankfully managed to open the Oxford New Theatre concert (Sat 14 December) for Bristol audience members to transfer to and we have managed to move the Glasgow date to Tuesday 03 December so I really hope you will be able to still see me have A Fabulous Christmas.”
Bristol ticket holders can swap their seats for Saturday 14 December at Oxford New Theatre please call 03330 096 690 or may receive a refund from the point of sale.
