Steeped in a dreamscape of Swedish folklore comes Mara, a brand new solo story from internationally-renowned storyteller Dominic Kelly.

Immersing the audience in the forests of 19th century Sweden, Morten begins to suffer nightmares and strange visits as he sleeps. A friend tells him he’s plagued by a Mara. This is someone possessed who unwittingly visits another in his sleep. Morten must discover the Mara’s identity to free himself. Who can it be?

This fascinating piece of storytelling is on at the Alma Tavern Theatre this evening.
