Oil Fountain by Luke Jerram at Bristol Cathedral
Luke Jerram’s Oil Fountain, will be at Bristol Cathedral this summer, freely available for people who want to come along and see it.
The Bristol-based artist created the installation to highlight society’s reliance on oil. It’s created from recycled acrylic, detailed with plants and animals which are now extinct.
Instead of water, black artificial flows through the fountain.
Oil Fountain is located at the back of Bristol Cathedral and can be seen for free by visitors.

The Oil Fountain will be at Bristol Cathedral until Sunday 02 July 2023
