Project Becomings Opens Art Exhibition in The Galleries Bristol

A brand new art exhibition is moving into The Galleries in Bristol this week, displaying work by people who have experienced childhood trauma.

Coming from a research project into how recovery could be practised beyond traditional methods, a group of ten adults came together through workshops to develop artwork. This work is now on display in a final exhibition.

Project Becomings say they hope the exhibition will help people to ‘explore what recovery means’ on an individual level. The event in The Galleries, highlights the importance of bringing this artwork out for the public to see, showing that recovery is more complex than just an individual’s responsibility and ability to simply ‘get well’.

Project Becomings will be running the exhibition from 15 – 20 August 2023.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 11am – 6pm
