Queen Lear by The Scullions at the Lightship Theatre Bristol

A new production of Shakespeare’s King Lear, will be taking place at Bristol’s Lightship Theatre in the new year.

The Scullions, fresh from their success at the Alma Tavern Theatre, will be returning to Bristol in January, with Queen Lear, an exploration of the classic story seen through the eyes of the modern day.

The show explores the play’s themes in a ‘visually striking’ way whilst not shying away from the violence and sexuality in this matriarchal political drama.
