Sam Lake Comes to Bristol on First UK Tour

Bristol date for new Sam Lake tour

Critically acclaimed comedian Sam Lake will, be bringing his show Aspiring DILF, to the Alma Tavern Theatre this year.

The stand-up comedian, writer and presenter went down a storm at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe. This year sees him taking his show across the country, stopping off in Bristol in March.

‘With the rise of formerly beloved male celebs turning into “anti-woke”, ”why aren’t men men anymore?” toxic commentators on low-quality news outlets and podcasts, Sam has become scared of the man he may become in the future.

‘So to combat this fragile masculinity, he’s embarking on a mission to ensure he becomes what he believes to be the last respectable form of a man, the Daddy.

‘Join him on his journey to Daddy-dom, as he chats about Furbies, Butlins & scandalous interactions with a rugby team.’

Sam’s writing has been featured on shows including Mock The Week, Breaking The News and Newsjack. He’s also host of podcast I’ve Had a Rosé, Let’s Talk About Feelings.

Sam Lake: Aspiring DILF, will be at the Alma Tavern Theatre on 01 March 2024
