Theatre Rites Bring Siyanda to Temperate House Kew Gardens

Siyanda, Protector of Plants, will be inviting families to join her in her mission to protect the world’s plants.

It will form part of a theatre event by Theatre-Rites at Kew’s Temperate House from Saturday 20-Sunday 28 October 2018.

The six ft tall puppet forms part of a theatrical experience incorporating puppetry, live music and performance.

Head of Visitor Programmes, Events and Exhibitions at Kew, Gina Koutsika says: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Theatre Rites to produce a brand new theatre performance inspired by the incredible Temperate House at Kew. Siyanda and her Plant Protectors will delight visitors of all ages, encouraging them to learn about the wonderful world of plants and what we can all do to care for them”.
