To Watch a Man Eat at The Alma Tavern Theatre

Bristol theatre company brings new play To Watch a Man Eat to the Alma Tavern Theatre

Bristol is lucky to have a proliferation of local creatives all determined to fill our diaries with new and ground-breaking theatre. It’s into this environment that Full Frontal Theatre has emerged. The female-led company is comprised of recent University of Bristol graduates. They will be creating new pieces of work to bring to the stage.

To Watch a man Eat, written by Sadie Pearson, is one of those pieces.

It follows Firefighter Micky, investment banker Andrew and the vindictive Melissa. Through these characters, the play ‘explores the modern thirst for success, stability and masculine prowess.’

It asks what does it mean to be a man, a person, in a world that upholds the ‘ideals of the corporate drone’?

What makes them tick? What can satisfy them? Sex, Money, Trifle?

To Watch a Man Eat, will be at the Alma Tavern Theatre on 03 and 04 March 2024
