Watch Me Die Loco Klub Bristol

A funeral for a social media profile – this is the interesting concept that Bristol director Taylor Ayling is exploring in Watch Me Die.

The one-woman show sees wholesome social media personality Petunia, cancelled after an an embarrassing video comes to light.

Following a predictable torrent of horrific online abuse, Petunia takes control of the situation and holds a funeral for the profile, inviting the trolls along.

The play has been devised by Eunice Da Silva and Taylor Ayling. It’s set within that funeral, bringing together sardonic humour with physical theatre exploring online shaming.

Watch Me Die will be at the Loco Klub from 30 October – 01 November 2023.

Each night will also feature a warm-up act ahead of the performance and will include Bristol acts Myriam Angela, Everglowing School of Burlesque and Gurt Haunted.
