Hymns at Bristol Cathedral

Bristolians can enjoy their favourite hymns at a free event running at Bristol Cathedral this weekend.

The Hymnathon! will be performed by the cathedral choir from 1pm on Saturday 10 June 2018.

The event is free though choristers are aiming to raise funds for their forthcoming Cathedral Choir Tour to Belgium and the Netherlands.

The hymns will include those voted for by people in Bristol and will vary from Amazing Grace to Hark the Herald Angels Sing.

“It’s always interesting to know which hymns people enjoy singing and yes, fashions do change! Will the voting favour old favourites, modern songs or something completely different? This is your chance to let us know what you think and then enjoy listening to the results of the voting,” The Revd Canon Nicola Stanley, Canon
