Bristol Balloon Fiesta Balloons Glide Over St Pauls
Annual event created spectacular skies across Bristol
If you aren’t able to get to the Bristol Balloon Fiesta showground during the annual event, it’s always a gamble deciding where to view from. Popular places Bristolians flock to include Troopers Hill, Bedminster Down and Brandon Hill.
We went to zero effort to see balloons this year after a particularly stressful attempt to see them at Ashton Court two years ago. Luckily, the wind took the mass ascent on Saturday morning right over St Pauls.
On the 6am Saturday Mass Ascent, three Thatchers Cider balloons were spotted gliding across Bristol
The event, when not marred by the weather, is always creates a spectacular sight across Bristol, making it one of the summer’s must-see events. Even if hopefully looking out of a bathroom window.
