Flowers For The Fallen on College Green

Have you seen the art installation yet?

Artist Duncan McKellar’s Flowers For The Fallen has been a popular installation right next to Bristol City Council.

It features 100 sunflowers in memory of those who have fallen in Ukraine.

They are planted in rows to represent the grid of war graves.

As each sunflower dies, it is painted black. Eventually, all of the sunflowers will be used in an art exhibition in February 2027.
