Paranormal Activity Comes To Theatre Royal Bath

An excellent piece of theatre that brings horror alive in front of you

Paranormal Activity is coming to Theatre Royal Bath this December. There’s nothing like a good ghost story over the festive period.

But, getting supernatural stories on stage can be quite hard to get right. So is this play a cash-in on the horror movie franchise? Or is it genuinely worth seeing?

The play is excellent entertainment. Sure, sometimes the dialogue is a bit IMDB 5.5, but overall, the story knows when to give space and when to ramp up the action.

There is plenty of action. So much so, that it is worth seeing twice.

The effects are excellent. Jumpscares sit amongst genuinely disturbing and unsettling moments. One such ghostly effect was met with cheers and applause from the audience in one of several jaw-dropping moments.

This is play you don’t want to know anything about before seeing. You don’t need to have seen a single Paranormal Activity movie to enjoy this show. It works as a stand-alone story in its own right.

If you haven’t bought tickets yet, central seats are likely to be your best bet. This gives you a full on view of everything taking place on stage.
