Barn Theatre’s Million Dollar Quartet To Tour UK

Barn Theatre’s hit production of feel good musical Million Dollar Quartet, will be getting a UK tour following its critically claimed run in Cirencester and subsequent London transfer.

The production was created by Built By Barn, the theatre’s very own in-house production company.

Million Dollar Quartet, is set on the night of 04 December 1956 when four men entered a Memphis recording studio and went onto make history.

It was pure chance that Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley were brought together for a jam session. It would be a meeting that would influence the trajectory of rock ‘n’ roll.

In a night where egos, rivalry and fame collided, they ultimately created an era defining soundtrack.

The London run will see the show playing on 04 December, the 70th anniversary of the legendary recording session that inspired this very musical.

Million Dollar Quartet has a book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux. It’s directed by Jonathan O’Boyle, with choreography by Joanna Goodwin. Set and costume design is by Libby Watson, lighting design by Alex Musgrave, sound design by Nick Lodge, musical supervision by Lee Freeman and casting direction from Harry Blumenau.

Darren Day will continue in the role of Sam Phillips, the producer and founder of Sun Records.

Million Dollar Quartet will be at The Arts At Marble Arch until 06 December 2026

The show starts its UK tour at Wales Millenium Centre 26 – 30 January 2027
