This October half term, a joyful and heartwarming adventure will be taking place at The Wardrobe Theatre.

Stuff & Nonsense Theatre Company will be coming to Bristol with their show Rabbit & Rey and The Lost Things.

Ever felt like the world’s playing hide and seek with your stuff? One moment it’s there… the next, pooff! Your toy, your glasses, your book, your sock… even your ideas, gone.

It’s the start of an adventure for Rey, an imagination expert who misplaces everything. Alongside Rey is Rabbit, the forever-loved bunny who is always present when the world feels a little bit full on.

They both set off on a quest to find all the things they’ve ever lost. Along the way, they realise they aren’t the only ones missing things. Other people lose things as well.

It’s not long until Rey wonders if losing things wasn’t the problem, but the path?

The themes in the show “sensitively explores our brilliant, often bewildering brains and what it means to live life a little out of order,” the company says.

The show is told through puppetry, visual storytelling and imaginative twists.

Stuff & Nonsense was founded in 2000 by Artistic Director Niki McCretton. Since then, the theatre company has created hit after hit of children’s theatre shows.

During Christmas theatre season, they often have more than one production running in the country at the same time. The popularity of their productions comes down to wonderfully inventive puppetry and playful storytelling.
