Adventures In Time And Space – 60 Years of Doctor Who Art at Weston Museum
A beautifully curated collection of Doctor Who art celebrating the 60th anniversary of the show has opened at Weston Museum.
Adventures In Time And Space – 60 Years of Doctor Who, features a huge collection of art, both original and digital.
The set up makes you feel like you are walking into the TARDIS, before surprising you with a brilliant array of illustrations and artifacts.
The collection includes framed art as well as toys, records, books and a feature wall of the 15 illustrated Doctors surrounded by comic books.
It spans all 15 Doctors, including the War Doctor and Fugitive Doctor.
The exhibition has been put together by the South West Heritage Trust in partnership with Events of Wonder for Weston Museum.
It runs until 27 January 2024.
Despite living in Bristol and regularly travelling to Weston Super Mare, it’s the first time we’ve been to Weston Museum. It is probably the friendliest museum we have ever been to. It’s extremely welcoming with a lovely community feel.
Entrance to Weston Musuem is entirely free with zero pressure for donations, although they are welcome.
For opening times, check out the museum’s website and it’s worth checking their Facebook page on the day ahead of your visit.
