Along Came A Magpie – The Wardrobe Theatre

Gentle adventure between a gardener and magpie comes to the Old Market theatre this half term

Two artists who trained at Bristol’s Circomedia are bringing their show Along Came A Magpie, for young audiences to enjoy at The Wardrobe Theatre this half term.

Jasmine Orchard and Lucia d’Inverno came together to set up Scarlet Oak Theatre, a company aiming to create accessible and engaging theatre for children and their grown-ups.

Both met in Bristol whilst training in contemporary circus and physical theatre, going on to complete further training in clowning with Ecole Phillipe Gaulier.

They bring their separate careers in acting, puppeteering, directing and experience from education to create this this playful gentle adventure navigating the intricacies of friendship.

Along Came A Magpie will be at The Wardrobe Theatre from 18 – 20 February 2025
