It comes as a 5LP vinyl box set, features songs from Cats, Evita and The Phantom of the Opera and
the vocal talents of stars including Barbra Streisand, Beyoncé and Michael Crawford.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Unmasked: The Platinum Collection is out now and also contains a 20-page booklet with tributes written by industry professionals such as Glenn Close and Tim Rice.

Andrew has curated and overseen the collection saying: “I particularly love the new tracks and of course I love the orchestral suites. “There’s nothing a composer likes more than hearing their melodies played by a cracking orchestra.

“I owe everyone involved in putting this compilation together a huge thank you. A vast amount of thought has evidently gone into selecting tracks from my almost fifty-year-old career.”

It’s been the composer’s 70th birthday this year, marking it with a new autobiography Unmasked and renaming the New London Theatre after the late West End choreographer Gillian Lynne. L* •
