Ned Boulting’s Marginal Mystery Tour Redgrave Bristol Date – Booking Now
Ned Boulting, the commentator ITV’s Tour de France, will be coming to Bristol with a brand new show this October.
Ned Boulting’s Marginal Mystery Tour: 1923 And All That, will be coming to the Redgrave Theatre in Clifton.
During the Covid pandemic, Ned found a roll of film depicting the 1923 tour, inspiring him to journey around Northern Europe searching for stories. His adventures led to him writing best-selling book – 1923: The Mystery of Lot 212 and a Tour de France Obsession.
Ned Boulting says: “This story starts off with a bang, literally, as a bike crash left me helpless and looking for interesting projects to pass the time. The film led me on an adventure around France and Belgium trying to discover the riders and stories of the 1923 Tour de France, and following the success of the book, I’m excited to get head back to the theatres to bring this fascinating piece of history to life.”
Described as ‘Part detective story, part murder mystery, part costume drama, part French farce’ with Ned’s own story inbetween, the evening will draw together connections between historic heroes with the champions today.
Ned Boulting’s Marginal Mystery Tour will be at the Redgrave Theatre in Bristol on Thursday 24 October 2024
