Bristol Comedy Troupe Comes To Clifton Theatre
Doors have existed for thousands of years, with the oldest known doors dating back to 5000 BC in Switzerland and Egypt. But who is behind your door?
At the Alma Tavern Theatre, Sometimes We Wear Shirts will be behind the theatre’s door this October.

The Bristol-based comedy troupe are bringing their show Knock Knock to the Clifton theatre.
The company, formerly known as The Melting Pot, have been making theatre – particularly comedy and improv – across the region for the last 5 years.
The knock Knock sketch show features improv with silly games woven into the seams, designed to get the audience involved and laughing their socks off, all hinged on one of the oldest jokes in the book.
Sometimes We Wear Shirts Present: Knock Knock will be at the Alma Tavern Theatre in Bristol on 27 October 2026
