Bristol Hippodrome Cancels Shows Through to June
Bristol Hippodrome and ATG Tickets Contacted Customers This Morning
Ambassador Theatre Group has continued its suspension of performances at its venues until Sunday 31 May 2020.
The company broke the news to ticket holders via email, with individual theatres posting the news on their social media platforms.
Shows affected include hit touring productions Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and Les Misérables.
The news will come as a further blow to ticket holders already in lock down.
In a statement published on Facebook, Bristol Hippodrome wrote: “Due to the on-going Covid-19 crisis, we are sorry to inform you that all performances at Ambassador Theatre Group venues across the UK have been suspended until Sunday 31 May and would like to apologise for any inconvenience this will cause.”
They say that affected customers will be contacted next week for an full credit voucher – including any fees – or an exchange to a new performance. Full refunds are also available.
With shows running at eight performances a week to some 2000 theatre-goers, there will be a wait until each ticket holder is contacted. The theatre says: “As you can imagine, we are processing a large number of bookings, so please bear with us during this busy period.”
