Bristol Theatre Experiences for Children During School Holidays 2018 at Tobacco Factory Theatres
Children’s theatre activities will be taking place at Bristol venue Tobacco Factory Theatres during school holidays this year.
The popular Southville studio theatre has a schedule of practical based sessions for children of varying ages to take part in.
Heroes & Villains
Wednesday 14 February 2018 10am – 3pm 5-7 years
Thursday 15 February 10am – 3.30pm 8-11 years
Join us for a day exploring the most daring and the most dastardly characters of Shakespeare’s best-known plays; delve into their world with our experienced facilitator before creating your own props and costume to help you really become a hero or a villain!

Wednesday 04 April 10am – 3.30pm 8-11 years
Friday 06 April 10am – 3pm 5-7 years
Travel back in time and explore stories of the past; some you may know and some to surprise you! Let our facilitators lead you on a fantastical journey before you get making and creating with designers, and take home your new skills and creations!

Tuesday 03 & Wednesday 04 April 10am – 4pm 12-16 years
A two day workshop where young actors, writers and designers will learn about the creative process of making a play. Using methods from our production of Macbeth we will spend two days working on a condensed version of the play, from conception to production. This is a unique opportunity to learn about collaboration, process and what goes on behind the scenes.
