Butterfly at The Loco Klub Bristol
Butterfly Loco Klub Bristol:
A new play telling untold stories from queer history, will be running at The Loco Klub in Bristol next week.
Told through monologues, dance and music, events where there was an attempt to suppress voices resulting in acts of defiance, will be celebrated in performance.
Stories include those of a drag queen fighting in World War I, to the radical lesbian ‘menaces’ of the 70’s featuring suppression, liberation, anger and happiness.
The show is written by Sam Jones and Clodagh Chapman, directed by Sam Jones and produced by Benjamin Orr
It’s on at The Loco Klub, Clock Tower Yard, Bristol Temple Meads, Bristol BS1 6QH from 05-07 March.
