Casting News: Honk! Barn Theatre
Four young performers will be joining the cast of Honk! at Barn Theatre this Christmas.
Toby Barton (17), from Swindon, Olly Ogbu (16), from Bristol, Niamh Brady (17), from Faringdon and Penelope Steele (17), from Cheltenham.
Following a call for local talent for the paid opportunity back in the autumn, the four performers will be taking on the roles of Ducklings and Froglets in the theatre’s festive show.
“We’re delighted to welcome Toby, Olly, Niamh and Penelope to the company for our Christmas production of Honk!” Iwan Lewis, Chief Executive and Artistic Director at The Barn Theatre said.
“It’s so important to us that The Barn continues to create opportunities for young performers and give emerging talent the chance to thrive!”
Honk! is an Olivier Award winning musical by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe based on Hans Christian Andersen’s classic story The Ugly Duckling.
Honk! will be at Barn Theatre from 21 November 2026 – 03 January 2027
