Christmas Family Events In Bristol – Dickensian Winter Wonderland At SS Great Britain
Holidays are coming so the time to book Christmas events is now
As the year creeps towards Christmas, Bristol families are already planning and booking December activities for the season ahead.
One event which is guaranteed to give you all the festive feels is the SS Great Britain, who will be transforming the ship into a Dickensian Winter Wonderland.
The venue is already easily one of the best places to visit in Bristol, but the team behind the ship always know how to pull out the seasonal entertainment when the time is right.
This year, visitors can meet 19th century costumed characters and Old Father Christmas, who will be in traditional green robes.
Alongside, there will be craft activities, festive food and a cheering choral experience from singing groups coming from across the region.
Children can listen to magical stories of Christmases past. They will also have the chance to get crafty, making their own sailor’s charm, tree decoration or Christmas card.
If that’s no enough, there will also be mince pies and mulled wine. The ship will be decked with hand-made Victorian decorations alongside holly, ivy and mistletoe.
Watch out for the weather because it’s guaranteed to snow!
