Christmas Skating at Clarks Village Near Bristol
Plenty of sessions available for all at this year’s Christmas skating event
With the Christmas shopping season in full swing, plenty of Bristolians choose to make their way to Clarks Village in Somerset.
If you’re making a day of it with family, The Clarks Village Festive Ice Rink is now open until early January.
It’s based in the grounds of the Alfred Gillett Trust’s Shoemakers Museum. Organisers say the ice rink is both wheelchair and pushchair-friendly.
It features real ice over a skating space of 550-square-metres.
There will be a range of events taking place, including Quiet Sessions for neurodivergent skaters, toddler mornings and disco nights.
The rink made history at its launch this year by hosting the World’s Biggest Elf Skate.
The event saw 193 guests dressed as elves hitting the ice, led by Father Christmas and his Head Elf Bubbles Sugarplum.
The Ice Rink at Clarks Village is open until 04 January 2026
